Hello! With Upscribbr you can save big on subscriptions at your favorite businesses, store your subscriptions in one place, and find new businesses around town!

To get started,

1. Download the Upscribbr app in the app store
2. Sign up with your phone number
3. Enter your name and email
4. Add a profile photo (optional)

You’ll be brought to our home page, where you can explore local businesses and savings. We’re glad to have you!

Simple. With Upscribbr subscriptions, you can save at your favorite businesses and find new ones! You can either be invited directly by a business or use the Search function in our app to find businesses and subscriptions.

Subscriptions are made up of 3 key elements:

1. Service
2. Price
3. Billing period (e.g. weekly, monthly, and annually)

You select the subscriptions that meet your needs and then you’re billed based on the frequency of your service. Pause, skip or cancel anytime — right from your phone.

Great news – Upscribbr is FREE to use! You choose how many subscriptions to purchase, from whom, and when. You can pause and cancel subscriptions as well. You’re in control!

Great news! Subscriptions are easy to find in the Upscribbr marketplace. Simply tap the Search tab at the bottom of your screen to get started.

You can search for a specific subscription by title or business name. You can also do a more general search using our categories and tags. Click Filter in the search bar to sort results by category, brand, distance, price, and location. Looking for a new coffee spot? Filter by that category tag. Enjoy!

Let’s fix that! First, ask the business if they are on Upscribbr. If they are on the platform, ask them to send you an invite to purchase a subscription.

If they are not on the platform yet, you can refer a business to join Upscribbr. To do so,

1. Tap the Profile tab at the bottom of your screen
2. A screen will pop up titled Refer A Business
3. Tap Add
4. Search for the business you want to refer by name or address
5. Select the business(es) you want to add
6. Tap to view their profile or tap Send an Invite
7. You can select another business to invite by tapping +Add
8. Tap Request
9. Review details and tap Done to return to Upscribbr

We’re happy you found a subscription you love!

To purchase a subscription from a marketplace search,

1. Tap the subscription you want to purchase
2. Swipe up to see the details
3. Tap the plan you want to purchase under Select a Plan. Any given subscription may have multiple plans within that subscription
4. If the subscription plans are grayed out, you will need to add a payment method or credit to your account.
5. Tap the Subscribe Now button at the bottom of the screen
6. Review the details and tap Proceed To Checkout
7. Confirm and enter checkout details (personal information and payment method)
8. Select your payment method or add a new one
9. Tap Complete Purchase to subscribe
10. Select the subscription to view more or tap Done

The participating business can also purchase a subscription for you. They can do this by selecting the subscription and entering your payment details for you. They can also do this by selecting the subscription and scanning your payment code. To find the code,

1. Tap the Subscriptions tab
2. Tap the Code circle icon in the lower right corner
3. Tap View Purchase Code

The business can scan your QR code or manually enter the code at the bottom of the screen. This will charge the subscription to your payment method.

1. Tap the Subscriptions tab at the bottom of your screen
2. Select the subscription you want to share
3. Hold and swipe left. Tap Share
4. OR Tap the Manage button and tap Share next to Share Subscription
5. Enter the recipient’s full name and phone number (email optional)
6. Tap Share
7. Review the confirmation screen and tap Done

Your friends and family will receive a link to download the app and sign up. Once they sign in to Upscribbr, they will receive an alert showing the shared subscription. The subscription can be redeemed by both the sharer and the receiver up to the end of the billing cycle or until there is no quantity left to be redeemed. Once the receiver redeems one quantity of the shared subscription, their subscription barcode will be deactivated.

If you do not see a sharing option on a specific subscription, the share option may have been disabled by the provider.

• You can invite friends by sharing a subscription with them. If they don’t have the app installed, they will be prompted to sign up to enjoy the subscription you’ve shared.
• You can also invite a friend to join and receive 20% your next eligible subscription. To do so,
1. Tap the Profile tab at the bottom of your screen
2. Tap the button that says Get 20% off. Invite a Friend Now
3. Tap Share Now
4. Select your prefered mode to send (text, email, other)
5. Select the recipient(s)
6. Send!

We get it! You love Upscribbr, and want to share it with your friends and favorite businesses! WE love you, too.

Refer a business

Can’t find your favorite business on Upscribbr? Let’s fix that! First, ask the business if they are on Upscribbr. If they are on the platform, ask them to send you an invite to purchase a subscription.

If they are not on the platform yet, you can refer a business to join Upscribbr. To do so,

1. Tap the Profile tab at the bottom of your screen
2. A screen will pop up titled Refer A Business
3. Tap Add
4. Search for the business you want to refer by name or address
5. Select the business(es) you want to add
6. Tap to view their profile or tap Send an Invite
7. You can select another business to invite by tapping +Add
8. Tap Request
9. Review details and tap Done to return to Upscribbr

Share and unshare subscriptions

A shareable subscription is a subscription that customers can share with friends and family through an invitation on Upscribbr. For example, if a customer buys a subscription for 10 cups of coffee for the month and uses 6, they can invite a friend to use one of the 4 remaining cups of coffee. The person they invited will receive a redemption code to scan when they come in for service.

Want to cheer up your friend with a coffee from your subscription? Upscribbr allows you to share subscriptions with your friends and family. To share a subscription,

1. Tap the Subscriptions tab at the bottom of your screen
2. Tap on the subscription you want to share
3. Tap the Manage button
4. Next to Share Subscription, tap Share
5. Enter the recipient’s full name and phone number (email optional)
6. Tap Share
7. You will see a confirmation that you shared the subscription
8. Tap Done

The subscription can be redeemed by both the sharer and the receiver up to the end of the billing cycle or until there is no quantity left to be redeemed. If you didn’t mean to share your subscription, you can unshare it. To unshare a subscription,

1. Tap the Subscriptions tab at the bottom of your screen
2. Tap on the subscription you want to unshare
3. Tap the Manage button
4. Tap the Unshare button next to Share Subscription

The person you unshared a subscription with will receive a notification informing them of the change.

Invite your friends!

We’re glad you love Upscribbr so much that you want to share it with a friend! You can invite a friend to join Upscribbr in two ways.

• You can invite friends by sharing a subscription with them. If they don’t have the app installed, they will be prompted to sign up to enjoy the subscription you’ve shared.
• You can also invite a friend to join and receive 20% your next eligible subscription. To do so,
  1. Tap the Profile tab at the bottom of your screen
  2. Tap the button that says Get 20% off. Invite a Friend Now →
  3. Tap Invite
  4. Select your prefered mode to send (text, email, other)
  5. Select the recipient(s)
  6. Send!

Use your invite a friend discount

Thank you for sharing the love and inviting others to join Upscribbr!! We’re glad to have you all. As a thanks for sharing, you will get 20% off any eligible subscription.

When you share a subscription, you will get a discount code. Hold onto that code. When you find the next subscription you want to purchase, you can apply your discount code. To do so,

1. Find your subscription through the Search tab
2. Scroll to Select a Plan, tap the plan you want to purchase
3. Tap Proceed to Checkout
4. Tap the Code button in the upper right corner
5. Enter the discount code
6. Tap Proceed
7. Tap Place Order

The discount will apply to your next billing cycle. The full price will be charged to your account for subsequent billing cycles.

Redeeming your subscription is fast and easy with Upscribbr, all from your phone! When you arrive to use your subscription,

1. Tap the Subscription tab at the bottom of your screen
2. Select the subscription to redeem. Hold and swipe to the left, select Redeem
3. OR open the subscription, tap Manage, then select Redeem next to Redeem Subscription
4. Enter the quantity (for example, if you’re going to get 1 beer, select 1)
5. Share the scannable QR code icon or the manual entry code with the business

You can also redeem a subscription and view redemption history through your Profile tab, Activities section, then Redeem.

Anyone at the business who is assigned to the subscription can redeem your subscription by scanning your QR code.

Yes! Within Upscribbr you can set up multiple locations from one business account, or you can have each location set themselves up individually on the platform. We know franchised businesses can be complicated, so don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly to get all of your stores on board!
